AGC Services You Can Use
Serving the needs of our membership is a prime objective for the Association of Oklahoma General Contractors. As the needs of our membership and industry change, our association strives to meet those needs swiftly and efficiently. The range of services currently available by the AGC is extensive and covers the following areas:
- Federal and State legislative representation.
- Instant access to vital information such as bid lettings, bid openings and contract awards.
- AGC liaison with governmental departments, boards, and commissions.
- Assistance with problems relating to city and county public works and building departments, local public utilities, zoning committees, draining boards, sanitary commissions, and air pollution committees.
- Training workshops and seminars with up-to-date information of the latest regulation changes and safety procedures.
- Lending library consisting of books, films, slide presentations, and periodicals.
- Membership listings in our monthly AOGC Magazine and Annual AOGC Directory. The monthly magazine, published by the AOGC, gives indepth information on current and future ODOT projects to be let. The magazine also features the Dale's Notes column in which Dale Hill, the Executive Director of the OAGC discusses timely events and noteworthy issues. The annual membership directory for AOGC includes a complete list of members alphabetically, geographically and by work classifications; AOGC services; legislative and congressional addresses and phone numbers; and other important industry-related governmental phone listings.
